Common questions about ZIAA membership, courses, certification and the e-learning portal.
Membership
Practicing licensed auctioneers and appraisers (Full Member), trainees/apprentices/assistants (Associate Member), and firms or companies (Corporate Member) can all apply. See the Membership page for the full criteria of each tier.
Annual membership fees are tiered by category. Contact ZIAA directly on info@ziaa.co.zw or +263 784 323 523 for the current fee schedule — most membership and course payments are currently settled in person at our offices.
ZIAA conducts background checks and professional verification, including reviewing your licence, references and ID. Timeframes vary; our team will keep you updated after you submit your application.
Courses & Certification
The Basic Certificate is a 3-day online introduction for new entrants. The four Core Courses (Auctioneering Skills & Techniques, Valuation & Appraisal, Legal & Regulatory Compliance, and Ethics & Customer Relations) form the full foundation for ZCA/ZAP certification and run 10–12 weeks full-time or 6–9 months part-time.
Both designations require completion of the relevant core modules, practical assessments, and adherence to ZIAA's code of conduct. CPD requirements apply for annual renewal. See the Courses page for the full module breakdown.
Most courses are available in-person, online, or in a hybrid format. The Basic Certificate is delivered via Google Classroom, and single subject diplomas are typically virtual learning.
E-Learning Portal
Portal accounts are created manually by ZIAA administrators once your membership or course payment has been confirmed — usually in person at our offices. You'll receive your login details by email or WhatsApp.
Enrolled students can read course books/notes, watch recorded video lessons, complete exercises, take auto-graded tests, and chat with the AI tutor for extra explanations — all at your own pace.
Contact ZIAA admin on info@ziaa.co.zw or +263 784 323 523 and we'll reset your password for you.
